Hi, my name is Aysha, and my nickname is Ace. I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 138469), supervised by Gina Cabral (LMFT104556). I have a master's in clinical counseling from Point Loma Nazarene. As a therapist, I aim to assist my clients in bettering their quality of life by improving their mental health and reaching the positive life changes they seek.

Clinical Experience

I am passionate about working with youth, teens, and young adults. Before becoming an associate therapist, I worked as a behavioral specialist for children with autism (ASD), as a youth assistant in a recreational center, and as a peer mentor in a community college. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), I have provided mental health services to diverse populations and marginalized communities, focusing on at-risk children, transitional youth, and their families.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, anger management, and trauma (PTSD). My therapeutic approach is eclectic and person-centered. I utilize multiple modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness.  I am honored to guide clients and highlight their strengths as we explore their healing journey of building coping skills and managing emotions.
