I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, (AMFT143481), supervised by Gina Cabral, LMFT (LMFT104556).
I grew up in Seattle before making California my home for the past decade, where I live with my husband and our two boys. Like many people, the events of 2020 led me to reflect deeply on what truly matters—and that clarity inspired me to pursue a career I could feel passionate about every day. Becoming a therapist was that turning point.
It’s a privilege to support others through their healing and growth, and I’m continually honored by the trust clients place in the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space that feels safe, empowering, and grounded in genuine connection.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked with homeless youth and in advocacy roles. These experiences continue to shape the compassionate and collaborative approach I bring to my work today.
In my free time, I love dancing, traveling, exploring San Diego with my family, and lifting weights.
Clinical Experience
With a background in providing mental health services across the lifespan, I strive to create a supportive and inclusive space where adults, couples, and youth feel empowered to heal and grow.
I specialize in working with individuals of all ages who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, low self-esteem, trauma, substance use, and interpersonal difficulties. My therapeutic approach is individualized and integrative, drawing on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful and lasting change.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a trauma-focused therapy that helps clients process and heal from distressing experiences.
In addition, I specialize in couples therapy and am trained in the Gottman Method, which provides research-based tools to help partners improve communication, deepen connection, and strengthen their relationships.
I have a special interest in supporting women through the perinatal period, including those experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), such as postpartum depression and anxiety. I find deep fulfillment in helping new mothers feel understood, supported, and empowered during this important life transition.
